At last!!! Las Vegas!!!!

We arrived at 8:20 am.....could not check into the hotel, so drove around Vegas a bit....had breakfast (lunch for us!!) at the "lucky" cafe in the stratosphere casino. Played some video poker, won a little, lost it all. Proceeded to the Rio, picked up Penn and Teller tickets for tonight...lost a little more money.
...still no poker, just enjoying hanging out with Miriam. Then went to Circus, Circus and Slots O Fun. Had 99 cent shrimp cocktail and split a 1/2 lb hot dog (also 99 cents). What a deal for frugal people (not cheap, just frugal). Went to grocery store, bought baked cheetos (I am on vacation, you know), 2 gallons of water (I refuse to spend 4.00 on a 1 liter bottle that they charge in the casinos!!), health bars and diet cherry 7-up, almond milk (YUM), and some diet salad dressing. Then went to check in at the Marriotts Grand Chateau....our room is great, has a microwave, refrig. sink, coffee maker, toaster, etc. We will be returning to the grocery store. Miriam took a nap (big surprise) and I did the following:
